Payment, delivery, complaints

Everything worth knowing before ordering a boat and after collecting it. If something is missing here, call us. We will answer straight away.

Payment

Every boat is built to order, so payment is split across several instalments. With each one you know what you are paying for and what happens once it clears:

  • 40% of the boat's value to place the order. Production starts once the payment clears.
  • 40% of the trailer's value, if you order one with the boat. The same terms as for the boat apply.
  • Electronics and engine, meaning the engine and Garmin equipment. You have 2 weeks from the start of production to make this payment. Once it clears we order the equipment, and once the electronics arrive you receive photo documentation.
  • The remaining balance on collection of the finished boat.

After that, all that is left is the first trip out on the water.

We accept bank transfer to our company account. On request we help with financing: leasing for businesses and instalment credit for private customers, in partnership with financing providers.

We issue a VAT invoice for every order. Prices on the site are shown incl. VAT (23%) and excl. VAT; you can switch between the two views in the configurator.

Delivery and collection

You can collect your boat in three ways:

  • Collection in person in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Niepodległości 4. At handover we show you how to operate the boat and its electronics, and on request we carry out the first launch together with you.
  • On a trailer, which we match to the boat. The set is ready to drive away and register.
  • Transport to an address of your choice within Poland and Europe. We quote the cost individually, depending on the model and distance.

We confirm the lead time in the order. It depends on the equipment chosen and engine availability; we let you know straight away about any change.

Complaints and warranty

Every boat carries a manufacturer's warranty: 5 years on the hull (load-bearing structure, welds, watertightness) and 3 years on the electrical installation, paint, decking, upholstery and fitted components. For commercial use (charter, hire) the warranty runs for 12 months. It passes to the next owner for the remaining period. Full terms: warranty card (PDF).

Engines and electronics carry their own manufacturers' warranties (Mercury, Garmin). At your request we will pass your claim on to the manufacturer.

How to report a fault:

  1. Call our service line: +48 573 669 721 or email tangiriboat@yahoo.com. Under warranty you must report a fault within 14 days of discovering it.
  2. Give the model and the boat's CIN number (from the plate), the invoice number, and describe the fault. Attach at least 5 photos or a short video: a shot of the whole boat, a close-up of the fault, and the CIN plate.
  3. We reply within 14 days. If a repair is needed, we arrange a time and place: with us or at an authorised service centre near you.

Consumers are entitled to claim for non-conformity of goods with the contract under the applicable consumer protection legislation; the warranty does not exclude these rights. Details in the terms and conditions.
