We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; we are not required to.

• Contact form: first and last name, email, phone number (if you provide it) and the message content.
• Configurator forms (“Request a call back”, “Download PDF” and the contact step): name, phone, email, town (if you provide it), preferred time to call, and the selected boat configuration with its price.
• Email and phone contact: the data you give us yourself.
• Contract and invoice: the data needed to conclude and perform the sales contract and to issue an invoice.

If you have agreed to analytics or marketing cookies, we also send, together with your enquiry, information about how you found the website (e.g. which advert, search engine or site) and which page you started from. Without that consent, we do not record it.

Once submitted, the form passes your data through our server to the CRM system we use to handle enquiries. We store the content of the enquiry there, the date it was sent, and which form it came from. We also receive an email notification for every enquiry. The configurator form sends the selected boat configuration together with your data; you get the PDF quote after providing your contact details.

If our server is not responding at a given moment, the website opens your email program with a ready-made message to us. In that case nothing reaches us until you send it.

Providing your data is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot respond to your enquiry. We do not make automated decisions and we do not carry out profiling.

• Responding to your enquiry, preparing a quote and an offer: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
• Concluding and performing the sales contract: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Accounting and tax obligations: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
• Handling complaints, pursuing and defending against claims, contact after an enquiry: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest).

• Measuring website traffic and advertising effectiveness, and showing Tangiri adverts to people who have visited the website (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel): Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, i.e. your consent given in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time (Cookie settings), which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We do not send marketing communications without your separate consent.

• Enquiries that did not lead to a contract: one year from the last contact.
• Data from contracts: until the limitation period for claims expires.
• Accounting documents: 5 years from the end of the tax year.

We do not sell data. We pass it on only to entities that help us run the website and handle your order, under data processing agreements or as required by law:

• our website hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) and our email provider;
• Arcasto, the provider of our customer relationship management (CRM) system, which receives enquiries from the forms;
• Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, only if you agree to the Google Analytics cookies (more below, in the cookies section). For advertising purposes, this company and we may be joint controllers of the data; the rules are set out in its privacy policy;
• Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, only if you agree to the Meta Pixel cookies (more below, in the cookies section). For advertising purposes, this company and we may be joint controllers of the data; the rules are set out in its privacy policy;
• the provider that sends email notifications about new enquiries (Resend, servers in the European Union), used by our CRM system;
• our accounting office and the transport company, if an order goes ahead;
• Google, only if you click “Show map” on the contact page (Google then receives, among other things, your IP address).
• Cloudflare, Inc. as part of the Turnstile service, which checks, when a form is submitted, that it was sent by a human rather than a bot (Cloudflare receives, among other things, your IP address and basic browser data; basis: our legitimate interest in protecting against spam, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cloudflare, Google, Meta and Resend are American companies, or belong to American companies, and may also process data in the United States. This transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses.

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified, erased or restricted, and to data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Just send a message to tangiriboat@yahoo.com.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO) (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, uodo.gov.pl).

Cookies are small files that the website stores in your browser. We divide them into three types:

• Necessary: without them the configurator would not work, and your choice in the banner would not be remembered. These do not require consent.
• Analytics: show us how you use the website. Only with your consent.
• Marketing: measure the effectiveness of our adverts and let us show you Tangiri adverts on Google, Facebook and Instagram. Only with your consent.

On your first visit we ask for your consent in the banner. Until you give it, the website does not load any of the tools listed below. We remember your consent, or the lack of it, for 365 days. You can change it at any time: Cookie settings (also available in the footer of every page).

Tools used only with your consent:

• Google Analytics (analytics; Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): counts visits and shows us which pages are viewed, what source you came from (e.g. a search engine or an advert) and whether you sent an enquiry. Cookies: _ga, _ga_* (up to 2 years). Data that reaches this company includes: your IP address, browser identifier, pages visited and events such as submitting a form or clicking a phone number. We do not pass on your name, email or phone number from the forms.
• Meta Pixel (marketing; Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland): measures whether a Tangiri advert on Facebook or Instagram led to an enquiry or a phone call, and lets us show our adverts to people who have visited the website. Cookies: _fbp (up to 90 days), _fbc (up to 90 days). Data that reaches this company includes: your IP address, browser identifier, pages visited and events such as submitting a form or clicking a phone number. We do not pass on your name, email or phone number from the forms.

In your browser’s storage we also save only what is necessary for the functions you use to work (Article 399(2) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law), which is why we do not ask for consent for the following:

• tangiri-konfiguracja (localStorage): your boat configuration, so it does not disappear when you refresh the page. It stays until you delete it.
• tangiri-porownanie (sessionStorage): the boats added to comparison in the catalogue. Disappears when you close the tab.
• tangiri-handlowiec (sessionStorage): a marker that the window with the advisor’s phone number in the configurator has already been shown, so it does not reappear at every step. Disappears when you close the tab.
• tangiri-godziny (sessionStorage): the most recently fetched opening hours, so the website can show them straight away. Disappears when you close the tab.
• tangiri-zrodlo (sessionStorage, only with consent for analytics or marketing cookies): where you came from (e.g. which advert or search engine) and which page you started from. We attach this to the enquiry sent through the form, so we know which adverts are working. Disappears when you close the tab.
• tangiri-zgoda (localStorage): your choice in the cookie banner and its date, so we do not ask on every visit. After 365 days we ask again.

The Google map on the contact page loads only after you click “Show map”. From that moment Google’s own rules apply, which may include cookies. You can delete any stored data at any time in your browser settings.
